Community Solar Energy Resource

The Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network (VECAN) has created an online Community Solar Toolbox that provides up-to-date resources and information for anyone exploring solar energy. There are many types of “community solar” solutions and there is also no “one-size-fits-all” approach. There are, however, many good reasons to go solar soon, since both federal and state incentives – including the federal thirty percent solar investment tax credit – will be significantly reduced (or unavailable) after 2016. To help people and communities explore solar options and issues, VECAN has been working with many partners to assemble a wealth of information in one convenient place. The goal is to help all everyone who is interested in solar development begin exploring their best options and to advance solar energy in a thoughtful way.
